“Everyone is entitled to his own opinions, but not to his own facts.”
— Senator Pat Moynihan
Sadly it has become the norm to downplay, discredit or create doubt in the minds of others by using false facts and science. This outrageous and shameful practice by many in the media and the government has replaced honest and open dialogue in this country about the benefits of medical marijuana use.
Following are web sites that are devoted to the facts, science and advocacy of Marijuana, its uses and social implications. In the following links we have the facts for the best available evidence.
We must give at least the same amount of time and thought on the facts and their implications as those that seek to confuse and distort them.
Thomas Jefferson wrote that "Information is the currency of democracy." We believe that when you have the facts you will be able to find open and honest ways to use them for the benefit of our public discourse and social change.
